Suben el salario mínimo en Michigan
Después de 9 años con el salario mínimo congelado los legisladores del estado norteamericano de Michigan han decidido subirlo. Debe haber demasiado empleo.
Michigan lawmakers on Thursday abruptly ended a nine-year freeze on the state's minimum wage, potentially bringing heftier paychecks to hundreds of thousands of workers. In an unexpected move, the Senate voted unanimously to raise the minimum wage from $5.15 an hour to $6.95 Oct. 1. It would again increase to $7.15 on July 1, 2007, and to $7.40 on July 1, 2008.
